and there is a MUCH larger crowd for KSU-Tech than for the men's game.

Well the KSU men had the game with CU almost on ice and blew it with one of the worst bonehead plays you can imagine by Pervis Pasco. The Buffs were down 2 points with 2.6 seconds to go. They had to throw in from their backcourt. Pasco intercepted the long throw in near the baseline but instead of just holding the ball he put his off hand in the air "holding up one finger" and ran carrying the ball in celebration. Result of course was CU ball under their basket with 1.8 seconds. They inbounded the ball and got it to an open player for a three. CU wins by one. OUCH!!!!!!!!

I understand it is semi-finals for the women, versus the play-in round for the men, but the difference in the crowds and the electricity were obvious even on TV.

I wish I had a tape of the end of the TT-KSU women's game followed by the end of the CU-KSU men's game. It would forever silence all those who like to think that the men's game is necessarily better or more athletic.

And as Jimi pointed out, the men's game is certainly not smarter! I can't imagine anyone in a women's game doing something as completely boneheaded as that!
