I don't know how the Big 12 did this, but they managed to set up some of the biggest games of the year for both the men and women for these next two weeks. For Tech it means visitors from Kansas and Texas
Not overlooking the Tech game with Nebraska either....
The women host Texas on March 2 and K State on Mar 6
The men host Texas on March 1 and Kansas on March 3
Here at Tech the excitement is building. Word from the ticket office is that the men's game with Texas is sold out and the women's game with Texas is pretty close to a sell out.
The Student Government Association is hosting a Spirit Rally for the Lady Raiders on Thursday night in the USA called Twist up Texas. The event is open to the public and along with the
TTU Cheerleaders, Pom Squad, Saddle Tramps, High Riders, Raider Red, members of the Lady Raiders are expected to speak and rev up the crowd.
We've seen good support from the students this year... a group calling themselves Rowdy Raiders (or Raider Rowdies)has made their prescence known and had a good time with some opposing coaches...they enjoyed (and I mean this in a good sense) trading stuff with Coach Coale.
What's going on with your schools?
