Weather permitting, I'm still planning to make the trip (after my root canal in the afternoon...) I think the ice on the roads is supposed to be gone by about noon tommorrow.

Hey Zo, I don't know where my seats are going to be. If you like, tell me where I can find you and how I can recognize you. I could come by at halftime.

Carolann, I will be in Sec. 103, Row 14, Seat 14. I will be wearing a gold Lady Bear Tip Off shirt and cap. Hope you can make it. Don't bring too many fans however! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

Well, I35 is closed tonight (Tues) between Austin and Waco with hundreds of motorists stranded. Sure hope the roadways clear by tomorrow - they should. it is supposed to be in the 40's tomorrow, but then it was supposed to be in the 40's today! I hope the Longhorns and fans can get to Waco tomorrow night!

Come on Bear Skin, we want the Horns and their fans to come and enjoy the friendly confines of the Ferrell Center. I hope there's a decent crowd. Naturally I'm pulling for the Green & Gold to have much more to cheer about, particularly when the fat lady sings. Makes the game all the more exciting when both teams have cheering sections, the game is nip & tuck, and you walk away fully invested in the outcome. The Lady Bears really need this one.

May it be a long, quiet, safe trip back to Austin for those faithful who journey up/down I-35. With the t-sip men hosting Baylor in Austin on the same night, I'll be surprised if many Horns make the journey to Waco.

Sic Em,

A group of us has been planning to go, but the photos of jackknifed 18 wheelers has made us reconsider. What is the weather in Waco like today?

Sadly, I can't make the trip tonight. With the weather and it being a school night for me AND the kids, and a busy wife...just not in the cards for me. We usually make the Waco trip - i'd be there in a heartbeat if it was on a Saturday. Have to tune it in on the radio. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif

Be loud, Horns - help the gals bring home a very important win so we can stay on track...

The weather and the roads in Waco have been fine today, but have heard mixed reports on the condition of I-35. Apparently both Dallas and Austin were in worse shape this morning than us.
If ya'll decide to come on up, be safe.

We've decided not to risk it either. Afraid that we would get there and then I35 would close behind us and we wouldn't be able to get home. Everyone who is going, yell for us and be safe.
