Kansas State up by 17, 34-17. Megan Mahoney has 13 points. Wecker got two early fouls again and is not hitting well. Unrau has only 2 points I belive. Its half time.

Laurie Koehn has not played. She hit over 200 straight foul shots in the shoot around today.

Kimmery Newsom is sick and did not make the trip. That means Kansas State has seven players available. So far six have played. McFarland has not been in yet.

Coach Stein is mostly staying in Man defense. They are trying to throw on a press but with so few made shots its not been very effective. Kansas State shot very well to start the game but has cooled off.

I have been listening to the Missouri feed at yahoo, and their announcers have been very fair-minded and VERY complimentary to the KSU players. Called Nicole Ohlde the best player in the Big 12 ~~ I think their favorite player is Megan Mahoney, though. Bragging on her AGAIN as I type.

Wouldn't you know it, this is the first time all season I think that Mahoney wasn't on my Hoopla team.... Maybe I'll just have to stop picking all KSU players if this is how they respond. I was at the KSU-BU men's game last night(not a pretty sight, KSU did everything fairly well except put the ball in the basket), so I missed out on listening to the women's game. In the past, when Mahoney was our leading scorer, it's always seemed like the other players were having pretty terrible games, so it's nice to see her have a great game and the others do well too. She's already proven herself a scoring threat this year, but if she can manage to have games like this more often, and Koehn comes back, KSU could end up being one tough team to beat in March.
