An interesting question has been raised on the wbball email list. What is the last home, non-conference lost for the Big 12 teams? Who currently has the longest streak? That would be interesting to know.

Oklahoma's is not that long. Their last home, non-conference lost was to Connecticut on December 29, 1999.

What about ISU, TTU, UT, etc?

Iowa State has not lost a regular-season non-conference home game
since around 1994. (Coach Fennelly is 34-0 in such games). However, Iowa State lost a second-round NCAA tournament game at home to Rutgers on March 16, 1998. The only ISU home loss of any type since then was to Kansas on February 16, 2000.

A more precise answer:

Iowa State's last loss in a regular-season, non-conference home game was December 21, 1994 to Tennessee-Chattanooga.
