Two bad teams producing a great game so far. Nebraska shot the lights out in the first half!!! (52%) but Husker turnovers in the second half staked TAMU an 8-0 run, and TAMU has been on the surge since.

The Aggies are winning the battle on the glass right now, and they are getting open look in the perimeter and knocking them down, while the Huskers are not hitting shots.

What a tale of two haves

1st Half....Nebraska shooting 52%, Texas A&M shooting 36%

2nd Half....Texas A&M shot 50%, Nebraska shot 23%

Plus, the Aggies just outscrapped us, played great defense. Nebraska had two long scoring droughts in the second half. One was 6 minutes, one was three.

One of the Nebraska radio annoucers said it best.

"The team is showing heart, but they need to show some shooting.

We attacked the basket in the first half, and then stop doing it in the second. What gives?

On the other side. I gotta give credit to Toccarra Williams. She rebounded, played tough D. A double double today for her. Lynn Claussen was flying around it sounded like and made plays. 12 points and 4 rebounds and it seems every crucial play she had a hand in it somewhere.
Texas A&M went out in the second half and scrapped and my lasses in red just didn't answer it seemed. They didn't respond offensively and then they started doing what the always do. The defensive effort suffers. We start chasing and fouling and we didn't rebound well.

Overall Outlook: Where's Mr. Applegate when you need him?
