WOW! GO COWGIRLS! How in the world did Nebraska beat Oklahoma State?

OSU is playing like warriors, while UNL went to Kansas State and play like a bunch of sissies.

If Oklahoma State pulls this off, this would be wild!

Yikes. I was beginning to think the Longhorns had, indeed, 'drunk the water' that sunk Arkansas. I'm glad the players are tougher than I am. I was moaning and groaning, and wringing my hands, but the players found a way to win. Stacy came through in spite of shooting woes. Heather was cool as a cucumber, coming in cold off the bench (fouls)to hit a big shot and a couple of free throws. Nina Norman came in and showed just how good she can be. I sure hope the Longhorns can shoot better in Ames.

Heather had her usual 15 points in (YIKES) 12 minutes. Yes, that's 12 minutes. She played five mins in the first half before picking up 2 quick fouls and then got two quick ones at the beginning of the second half, and sat out most of the game. Thank goodness the rest of the team picked up the slack - FINALLY!!! Bad shooting night from the field and from the line.

one of the reasons Nebraska beat OSU -other than the good coaching and the players having BIG HEARTS and DETERMINATION that game -was that their GOOD LUCK CHARM was there that day to cheer them on and watch them get their first Big Twelve win!!!!

I hope they bring those BIG HEARTS and DETERMINATION this week, and in the coming contests against the real teams like Texas and Texas Tech.
