Was anyone smart enough to pick Cisti Greenwalt for their Hoopla team? She had 21 point and 10 rebounds for the Lady Raiders!!!!

Hey Chipper, Cisti is back!!
5 minutes in the game and Coach Sharp pulled the ENTIRE starting lineup for the rest of the first half. Mik Tennal, Chesley Dabbs, Cisti Greenwalt, Casey Jackson, Latoya Davis, and Jametra Clark played the rest of the half and outscored A&M 30-12! A&M went up 4-2 when Coach Sharp pulled the first 5 to make a statement (no that statement prob wasn't "our bench is stronger than your starting 5, Ms. Gillom!")
Greenwalt finishes with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Lady Raiders. Marsha Sharp will go for #500 against Baylor in Waco. I as well as many other Lady Raider fans will be there to cheer them on! Go Tech!!
I can't believe that any team in the NCAA has more quality depth than Tech. And I love any coach that will bench his/her starters for 15 minutes for not playing hard/smart.
I still believe Tech is the team to beat. Not in the conference, in the NCAA.

7 Tech reserve players scored 50 points, had 30 rebounds and played 124 of the 200 team game minutes.

It was a very interesting game. The starters were very out of sync at the begining of the game. Jolee was the only one playing anything recognizable as organized basketball and she was sent to the bench with two quick fouls. Tech had four turnovers in the first three minutes.
I am so proud of Marsha! She sat ALL the starters about three or four minutes into the game and replaced them with players off the bench. They came in and ran the game plan as drawn up. They played great and the starters did not get back on the floor for the entire first half.
Believe me, the starters played a lot crisper basketball in the second half!
Everyone who played score. Cisti had a great game. Casey Jackson was a warrior and Mik, Chesley and Jametra were wonderful, too.

I think Coach Sharp has the depth this year to finally shake up the lineup when players aren't performing. I love the fact she sat the starters and put in the subs....they play pretty good ball. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
There's nothing anymore pleasing to me than to POUND the ags in any sport. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Texas Tech's bench is flat out scarry. Chelsey Dabbs hardly gets any minutes but still looks very good when she gets in. Jametra Clark is rapidly improving. The Raiders look set for several years to come. I sure hope Texas' recruits for next year are all they are supposed to be. I hope Tiffany Jackson is "all that and more".

From looking at the final score maybe the Huskers will get win #2 in the conference in College Station Saturday. I can only hope.
