View Full Version : What will the Big XII Tournament bracket look like?
Find out for yourself.

I reorganized the page so the games are listed by date. The default winners are the actual winners for games played and the likely favorites for games yet to be played.
My bracket looks like this:

(Edited, changed a couple of game picks.)

my seeds looks like yours also, YCN....though I'm not sure how to upload it....
Although, I have OU losing at Colorado (I think)...
Oops, I see a problem, Mred. In my bracket, it has Texas and Kansas State tied with the same schedule and with Texas as the #2 seed and KSU as the #3 seed, which can't happen.
I also have a 3 way tie between OU, CU and MU, with OU winning the tiebreaker....not sure that's possible either since I picked CU to win over OU, I think. If Colorado beats OU and OU beats Missouri, OU would be the 5 seed.

That is true. I'll see what the deal is.

Not necessarily. The ties within the division are broken first. If MU wins the tiebreaker over CU, then OU is the 4 seed, MU is 5, and CU is 6. If CU wins the tiebreaker over OU, then it is CU, OU, MU. If it came up OU, CU, MU, then there is definitely something wrong. Given the KSU/UT problem above, I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case.
The tiebreak protion of the program somehow broke. Right now, the teams are ranked in default order, which is the 6 south teams in alphabetical order followed by the 6 north teams in alphabetical order. I'll fix it shortly.
Fixed! I had two things wired backwards...
Please feel free to complain if any other strange things are discovered.

Swok--if you remember how to insert a picture, then you can do this. It's basically the same thing.
Use the [img] tags like you do for quotes or bold.
That's too cool, mred. My seeds ended up:
1 Texas
2 Texas Tech
3 K-State
4 Missouri
5 Colorado
6 Oklahoma
7 Baylor
8 Iowa State
9 Texas A&M
10 Kansas
11 Nebraska
12 Oklahoma State
I've got my orange-tinted glasses on tonight. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif
I created a bracket using the method that Jerry Palm uses for calculating who wins a matchup. He adds .045 to the RPI rating for a home team, and whichever team has the higher rating is the team that should win. Using his method, here is how it shakes out:

I like YCN's bracket better than Bevo's.

Jennifer, I like your bracket, but if Baylor and Iowa State both have (8-8) records, wouldn't Baylor be the No. 7 seed since they beat ISU?
I feel that Colorado is in the drivers seat to get the no. 4 seed. After that, it is anybody's guess. 5,6 & 7 may flip flop over the next couple of weeks.
I also think KSU could pull a first place finish and get the no. 1 seed. Tech will have just come off of a tough game with Texas when KSU rolls into town.
