The head of the selection committee is Maryalce Jeremiah from Cal State Fullerton. In her time as SWA at Fullerton, they have gone through three coaches. Here are the records of the three:

1992-93 Deborah Ayres 8-19 5-13, 7th (BWC)
1993-94 Deborah Ayres 5-22 4-14, 8th (BWC)
1994-95 Deborah Ayres 14-15 8-10, 7th (BWC)
1995-96 Deborah Ayres 7-20 4-14, 8th (BWC)
1996-97 Deborah Ayres 10-16 5-10, 5th (BWC-West)
1997-98 Denise Curry 10-17 7-8, 3rd (BWC-West)

Fullerton is 5-15 and 3-6 in the BWC as far in the 2002-03 season.

How can the NCAA put somebody in charge of this very important committee and she herself can't get her own WBB program straighten out?

Her own team doesn't have a prayer of making the tourney and the only team in her conference that will make the tourney is UCSB, so at least she won't have any conflict of interest during the selection process.
