Texas over Kansas 89-47

I guess no one else is up to posting the win, so I will. Texas looked very good today at home against Kansas. They were paced by Heather Schreiber's 14 points, followed by Alisha Sare with 11, Annissa Hasting's 10, and Kala Bowers with 10. Close behind were Jamie Carey with 9 and Stacy Stephens with 8 (sorry for those of you with Stacy on your Hoopla team). Stace had a fine game, she just didn't need to score much and she didn't play much in the second half. In fact, every player on the team scored and the subs got some quality PT in the second half. Nice win for the Horns - fun game to watch.

I'm happy with the way we didn't let up and give KU any hope of winning today. Great response from the team coming off of the 'break' this week. Now its time to get out the brooms and carry them to Stillwater to sweep the Cowgirls.

I'm happy that we didn't get sloppy. That happens sometimes when you get a big lead and there is no hope of the other team catching up. We also demonstrated great passing today - I was very impressed with crisp laser passes, quick ball reversal, and getting the ball to the open shooter. Looking good!
