Baylor wins 69 to 44. The Lady Bears needed a road win, especially with KSU coming to town on Saturday.

WANTED: Someone to put the ball in the basket.
Apply at the Bob.
Baylor has a good young team. Their gameplan of working it inside proved to be the difference. Baylors defense stifled our offense all night.
The Huskers needed to pick up the temple on offense they played lethargic tonight. This was our worst offensive outing of the year. It doesn't get any easier Missouri comes to the Bob this Saturday. Hopefully the Huskers will have a better showing.

I stick up for this team and I get repaid with a group of kids moving slower than a can of frozen TropArtic.
Same song, new verse. Nebraska continues to fail at doing the simple fundamental things, and when they do do something right they can never do it to plays in a row.
Not to mention the free throw shooting. Did everybody take the Griechaly Cepero Foul Shooting Seminar?
But again, the worst breach was when the team struggled offensively, they quit defensively
Last night the team played like the Jamaal Lord All-Stars in the second half, and that what really hurts. Again, we get some bad breaks and instead of fighting hard, we start feeling sorry for ourselves.
Earth to Connie Yori: Quitting isn't our business anymore. Seeing this team quit last night bothered me. The only player who didn't was Alexa Johnson, and even she was getting beat by Young and Blackmon in the second half, and that was after a solid first half.
OVERALL OUTLOOK: Whoever said this team may not win another game could very well be right. 13-for-51? It looked bad last night, but I didn't think it was that bad.
Fundamantal flaws? That's normal for Nebraska.
Cold Shooting? I can deal with it.
But last night Nebraska committed the worst sin,THEY QUIT. To many eazy layups. Too much giving up plays. I was especially surprised at the lack defensive effort Margaret Richards showed. The Old Margaret played most of the second half last night. I don't like the Old Margaret, I love the New Margaret.
Next up, Missouri. The points of preparation should be three things.
1. Shooting, consistent shooting. I fear we have some people who are a little short on confidence (yes Ms. Johansen, I'm talking to you). The shots are going to come, we just need to keep working.
2. Defense. We played good D in spors, but we have a tendency to lose discipline and lose desire.
3. Heart. Last night, It bothered me to see the lasses start hanging their heads early second half and just not care. The body language showed the signs of defeat, and I saw those signs in our team leaders. Ms. Richards, you've proven me wrong this year DON'T GO BACK TO WHAT YOU USED TO BE.
Ms. Johnson, you called the tune over the summer. "Those Who Stay, Will Be Champions" Your 15 points don't make up for quitting in the second half. I expect Alexa Johnson to treat every game like Battle Of The Bulge, and last night and in a number of games in this recent troubled stretch she hasn't.
