34-32.
Wilson carrying Cyclones again with 16, incl. 3-6 from behind the arc.
Sophia Young back for Bears, came on strong at the end of the half...Bears spreading it around...game started pretty sloppy...looks like the close one that most of us anticipated.

OT !! Tied at 71 !

Did KMR tell them to foul w/ 16 secs. left when BU had a 1 point lead? They put WILSON on the line and she missed the 2nd one ! Sophia missed a layup that could've won it with 4 seonds left !

One OT is not enough.
Let's play some more basketball!

Holy cow - 2nd OT....Stratton blocks Wilson's final shot...77-77...I haven't even switched to the Texas-OSU men's game yet...I think we can safely assume that Wilson is gonna be Big 12 Player of the week...32 pts., 5 rebs.

The wheels are coming off now. Lindsey Wilson fouls out with about 1:30 left....Cyclones down 4.

Sad end to a heroic performance by Wilson...36 pts., 6-10 from three.

Sophia has 14 rebounds now...

Terrific ball game. Baylor bounced back better than I expected.

It's ironic that Wilson scores 34 points and misses a free throw that could have ended it in regulation, and a shot from the key that could have ended it in overtime.

Both teams represented the conference well today.

ISU has two players score 59 of 83 points. Lindsey Wilson, or any one player for that matter can only carry a team so far. Anne Wilson is starting to step up....but we need someone else too. Without Anne Wilson today, the Cyclones get blown out. Other players have shown glimpses of what they can do, but they can't keep hoping that Lindsey can carry them.

That said, this was a very entertaining game! A good advertisement for the Big 12.

ISU is just a real hard-luck team (KSU game notwithstanding). Seems like the rest of the team may just need another year to ripen...Fennelly won't stay down long.

Yeah, I don't think this gal has a very good 15-foot jumper.

It's great to see Tracy Gahan back on the ISU bench. Too bad they won't let us put our grad assistant in the game. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

I concur, this was a wonderful game to be televised. It was tied 12 times and there were 20 lead changes. Wow, two overtimes.

I agree Wilson was a hoss today. She was 13 of 26 and 6 of 10 from beyond the arc. In fact she had 6 of the Cyclones 11 three's.

On the other side, Ebony Jackson, a freshman PG, had 12 points, 7 assists and 5 steals in 29 minutes for the Lady Bears

WOW, Lindsey Wilson was incredible today. I am glad I put her on my Hoopla team. She was awesome with her shooting today. Our guards just needed longer arms. Jessika Stratton was in her face several times and she still popped the net. Great shooter! Always has been.

Baylor did get a boost from Ebony Jackson today. They really need a point guard to distribute the ball. Baylor plays a better up tempo game and can get really flat in a slow half-court game. A little surprised that Sophia Young sat on the bench as long as she did. Her rebounding was essential to the win. She finished with 17 I believe. It is good to see a freshman lead the league in rebounding. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

I thought Iowa State was very physical with their picks and screens. They do a great job of moving the ball around. I have not sat through a double overtime since I don't know when. What fun since we won.

wow, I got to see both the overtimes...I had set the VCR to tape the OU/KSU game and got to see the finish. What a great game, I only wish I had seen the entire game. I did manage to catch all of the first half.
