OU trails UT 51-46 with more than 2 minutes remaining, in spite of being just horrible from the stripe and from beyond the arc.

Amazing!

Again, ugly as all hell - not much going on offense, but suffocating D, Stacy (the Beast), and free throw shooting gets us a win over a good team with a helluva coach. We stopped Villa and Jackson never really got going.

2-1 over this 3-game stretch vs. top 20 teams, with a split on the road & no ugly letdowns; i'll take it. Don't see anyone else giving us too much trouble until our trip to Lubbock for a day of reckoning March 2. A pretty cushy February after a character-building January. I wouldn't be surprised if we sleepwalk and get upset one time, though (ISU ain't a pushover, apparently).
I think we go 13-3 and get a #2 at the Big12 tourney, and get a rematch with KSU in Dallas.

YCN - that's "THE SHOT", btw...you can only see Nina's hands.

Looks like business as usual in the Big XII. Hope our Lady Raiders are watching... You never get a day off in the Big XII!

With about 5 weeks left to Dallas, it's just too early to predict matchups there. I know OU lost, but I still feel upbeat about the upside of this team. No quitters, for sure.

And I'm seriously glad to see the teams that have thus far been in the bottom half of the bracket fighting back, and making the conference better. While all those other teams across the country jockey for position, the Big 12 is working hard at propelling a team or even two, or even - in our wilder dreams - three into that last weekend of the season.

Life just doesn't get much better than this!

What a crazy start, Tech beats Missouri by 30 or so, Missouri beats ISU at Ames by a big margin, ISU beats KSU, KSU beats Texas, and Texas beats Tech. Kinda goes full circle!!
