http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif In a world filled with things such as 'negative recruiting", coaches can still rise above the muck with gracious behavior.
I thought these quotes were worth posting.

Coale on Conradt from the oudaily.com.

"(Conradt's) been a good friend to me and a mentor to me," Coale said. "She was very helpful to me in the early stages of my building this program."

From The Oklahoman, comments from Conradt on the success of OU this year.

"All of that is a credit to Sherri," Conradt said. "She has a very competitive attitude, and teams are a reflection of their coaches. I think the tradition has been established. Players come into the (OU) program expecting to win."

Conradt said OU's early- season schedule, which included games against Tennessee, Connecticut, Stanford and North Carolina, helped toughen a young squad.

"Even when they don't win, they've seen what it takes to be the best," Conradt said. "Any success they have, even if it's not a win, gives them the feeling they can play with anyone."

I'm posting the predictions from WCH.....they seem to pick the ones they want to predict this year..and rarely pick a game OU is in http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif I don't understand their formula this year. I would understand only picking Top 25 teams, but they didn't make a pick on the KSU/ISU game tonite. The second prediction is a guest predictor.

And, did NO sportswriter/follower of women's basketball watch the KSU/UT game last Saturday? Everyone keeps saying Texas doesn't play well on the road.....and I say anyone that watched that game would have dispelled that notion http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

Texas @ Oklahoma
These teams are pretty evenly matched. Texas has been playing like world beaters at home, but is not good enough on the road to take Oklahoma. Schreiber and Stephens will keep it close, but Coach Coale will make the right adjustments to push Oklahoma over the top. Oklahoma 75-70 (Texas 78-67)

Baylor @ Colorado
Baylor's weak schedule starting to haunt them as they start to face tougher competition on the road. Baylor should win a close rebounding battle, but lose the war as Colorado will shoot well from inside the arc and better from outside against a team that doesn't defend well against the trey. Colorado 72-58 (Baylor 75-70)
