Texas Tech 76; Prairie View A&M 70. Prairie View coached by former Houston Comet star Cynthia Cooper-Dyke. Coach Curry substitued freely again today. The freshmen are getting some valuable playing time.

Sometimes game officials can really mess up the beautiful game of basketball. :mad:

This game was a perfect example of the article posted the other day about biased officiating in basketball.

PVA&M was playing bumper car, out of control, plow through the screen, crash into the pass recipient or the rebounder from behind, aggressive basketball. Instead of giving them the 30 or so fouls they deserved in the first half, the officials just called every third foul and then didn't call any on Tech. The Lady Raiders clearly had some fouls in the first 15 minutes of the game but none were called. Instead, they would call traveling when there wasn't any as if that made up for no foul calls on Tech which was to make up for ignoring a high number of fouls committed by PV.

That is frustrating to a young team trying to do things the right way. It makes for something ugly on the court.

These young 'uns need to learn to get over that frustration and play through such games. A Texas A&M game is just around the corner. :cool:
