This story focuses on the lastest to make the jump: Hawaii's Takahara. I found it particularly interesting in that 3 who had made the jump before (including Coale) and one AD who hired a HS coach, were interviewed about what it took to make the jump successful.

(Note: I can't wait for Kim's "next book": If They Only Knew. She said it will talk about all of those behind the-scenes aspects of coaching I don't know if she was kidding about that being her next book but I hope she wasn't. I am almost as fascinated by the "non-coaching" aspects of a successful head coach as I am about the wins and losses this year.)
