I know that pretty much everybody is predicting an easy win for K-State in this game, but for some reason it has me worried. For one thing, K-State has been looking pretty unstoppable lately, and that's always a sign that an unexpected loss in on the horizon. To make matters worse, Bramlage might be very empty tonight, as the weather reports are calling for snow and 30mph winds. Anyway, I still think K-State should win this game without incidence. Who will stop Ohlde now that Welle is gone? The only person that can stop Wecker is herself. I think it will be very difficult for our guards to defend Lindsay Wilson, but as long as we can limit her, I think we'll be OK. I don't know too much about some of the other ISU players, so I'm looking forward to seeing them in action tonight.

I know what you mean about the weather maybe hurting attendance tonight. We are from an hour north in Kendra Wecker country. My husband and I are still planning to make the trip tonight but expecting a slow drive home. Several others here at work today have been talking about it and waiting to see what the weather will do. I hate to miss it because I think it will be a good game. I did hear that Topeka Channel 13 WIBW will have the game on tape delay at 11:00pm. So maybe those who don't feel up to the drive can at least stay up late to watch it or record it to watch tomorrow.

GO CATS!!!

In case you missed it Coach Patterson has been quoted as saying that it is unlikely that Laurie Koehn will play tonight. She also said it may be a lingering problem all season. She said it will be day by day if not hour by hour. Laurie has not practiced since the last game. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif

I hate to hear that! Knowing how much of a gym rat she is, that has to be agonizing for her.
Is this injury in any way related to the foot problem she had her redshirt year?

Latest prediction of snow in Manhattan to begin at 5:00 p.m. Oh well, it may be a slow drive home, but ought to be worth the drive down there.

Welcome to KSUWBBfanatic to hoopscoop.

Two years ago, it seemed if there were a women's basketball game planned here in Norman; it would definitely snow or come an ice storm. Last word for tomorrow's snow is that it's missing us, thankfully.....seems it's headed further north.

For all those that brave the weather, good luck and be careful!

Indeed welcome KSUWBBfanatic! We have mutual interests in not only Kansas State WBB but also Graphic Design. Our son-in-law is a Graphic Designer & our daughter is a fine art grad also. I hope you have a safe trip. My wife and I are nearly always in our seats a little early in section 6, row 10 seats 6 to 9. If you or Snizave would like to meet sometime before a game we would be happy to meet you. Of course I am always happy to see cctigerfan to but he already knows us. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks Jimi, it would be great to meet some other hoopscoopers. We are usually at the games early too. We sit in Sect. 5 row 25 seats 1&2. I'll try and look you up at the next home game. Are you guys heading to Lincoln on Sunday? We are. Sounds like plenty of KSU fans will be going. Last year that trip up north was icey and snow packed. I hope we don't have to deal with that again. Last night the trip home was a steady stream of traffic heading north at 40mph.

I know the game was close and stressful at times last night but was anyone else surprised that Koehn was put in as long as she was? She was obviously hurting and favoring that right ankle and definitely having trouble on the defensive end.

Welcome, new KSU fans! I had the opportunity to meet many KSU fans at the tournament last year, and everyone was very cordial. It was great to meet fellow women's basketball enthusiasts. We never lacked good conversation. I was glad to see the KSU-ISU game wasn't the blow-out most predicted! Keep up the noise at Bramlage....you all made a lot of noise in KC last year!
