OK, now I am a little worried about Tera. There is no reason at all she should have shooting games of 3 for 13, 2 for 8, and and 2 for 12 as she has in the last three games.

I think that teams are being much more physical with her, and pushing her out of her comfort zone. Having Britt Hartshorn in front of her the last couple of years was a huge advantage for Tera as I think teams prepared more for Britt than her, and when Tera came in, she was able to pretty much have any shot she wanted.

Now, it looks like she is trying too hard; taking shots she shouldn't, at funny angles, etc. Coach Barry says Tera will work through this, and she won't bench her.

Come on Tera, we have faith in you, and we need you BIG TIME! I just hope there is nothing physically wrong with her.

GoBuffs,

I don't think there's anything physically wrong with Tera. I asked assistant coach Tanya Haave, who covered for Ceal (back problems) at the post game press conference about Tera. She indicated that it's mostly just a confidence issue.

I've felt that this had been Sabrina's problem as well, and she obviously took some big steps towards resolving that issue last night.

It felt reassuring when Haave closed her answer to my question with "when Tera has her confidence, there is nobody who can stop her."

I think we Buff fans know this. Now if Tera will just remember it.

Thanks BF22. Let's hope the confidence comes back very soon!

Bjorkland is one of my favorite non-UT players. I'm sure this slump won't last too long, although I wouldn't mind if she went 0 for 20 against Texas. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

For some reason, she loves playing in Texas, TXSNOS.

I think she was like 10-11 from the field, and 9-10 from the free throw line the last time she played in Austin.

That's probably way I have such respect for her. I think she has the talent to be a dominating type college player.

This is exactly how I see it. It began as the ISU game progressed on and has continued. For CU to continue to have success in the conference she must be a serious scoring threat.
