Tech was my preseason pick to win the national championship, I guess I shouldn't feel so bad about a 9 point loss.

So why do I feel so bad about that?

I'm just glad it's over...sounded like quite the battle. How 'bout these freshman of ours (I include Welch in that too)..boy did Davis, Grant and Welch come to play. 27 boards in 2 games for Davis and great to see Grant take the shots.


It seemed like quite a chess match again between these two good coaches..

Villaroel's clearly a keeper...great moves, strong defensive skills. Jackson as always is so impressive.

Glad to have that 5 game win streak by OU broken and we need this win going into Texas very very soon...

It was great to hear all the noise from Lloyd Noble(?) tonight..the last few away games Tech has played (A&M, Southern Miss and even Rice) were way too quiet...I think we play better in a rowdy environment and the OU kids deserve that support as do our kids. We'll try to have a full house for OU's return visit to Lubbock.
