Hey, Stacey sounded pretty good behind the desk for the half-time report! I predict we'll see more of her there.

Her picks for the final four:

Kansas State

Tennessee

Duke

and one of......

UConn

LSU

Stanford

Minnesota

I'm a little surprised that no one's talking about Texas Tech.
But, they haven't been on TV a whole lot.

Speaking of KSU, they are putting on an absolute shooting clinic today. 78 points with 12:54 remaining?!!!

Yeah, I was surprised Tech wasn't in her picks as well.
Of course, maybe she didn't want to appear to be Big 12 biased. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Ohio State is working Texas over thus far. Foster really has this team working well together.

KSU did a great job, as did Stacey for ESPN.

Of course, it wouldn't be complete without a Jim Foster team shooting 65%+ from the field!!! Wow!

Also, Stacy D-S is a great analyst. I hope to see her in the future...just one thing...blink! No, but really, she's got some good things to say at halftime of the UT-OSU game.

Koehn made 10 of 13 three point attempts and finished with 33 points. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/eek.gif

Koehn tied Stacey Frese's Big XII record for 3-pointers made in a game..and also has set the NCAA season record thus far.
KSU was scary good today.

Stacey Dales Schuman is doing the color for the Sooner Sports Network this year and she's great. There's a lot of insight she can give into Coale's system that not just anyone would be aware of. I'm glad for Stacey that she's getting to put her degree to work a whole lot sooner than I expected.......great job,Stacey http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Ohio State's Courtney Coleman is one tough post player. She is very agile. Texas isn't getting good looks at the basket. Their shot selection stinks. Carey however is having a decent game after being under the weather. Lets go Jody and gain one on Pat.

..looking forward to watching the KSU game on video. KSU has so many weapons and it sounds like Patterson's doing a bang up job of using them

The Ohio State/Texas game was interesting..I continue to be impressed with the guts of Nina Norman and what a gutsy performance from Carey in her first game back.

Foster's got those kids showing some confidence and guts again. I'll be interested in seeing them against Minnesota and Penn State.

I also thought Stacey did a good job.
I hope to see her on there more. Wish I could see her do color on Sooner Sports Network.

Oh, and of course some Uconn fans are horribly offended that she only thought they were a bubble team for the Final Four. It's because she's biased because Uconn beat OU last year. Haha. Some of them sure can be entertaining at times. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Interesting sidenote on Laurie Koehn's performance today. Iowa Head Coach Lisa Bluder has had the good (bad) fortune to witness two separate times the Big 12 record of 10 three-point shots made in one game -- both against her team. Stacy Frese made 10-18 against Drake in 1999 when Bluder was the Drake coach -- but that game, Drake won. Today, Koehn made 10-13, and Iowa got crushed.

That's just the way I like it. I hope Tech remains in the RPI top 3, but the bottom half of the top 10 rankings until very late in the season. They can pop into the top 5 just in time to earn a #1 seed. The longer this team feels like the rest of the country doubts them, the better for their motivation. They need to keep working very hard; they still need to make a lot of progress by season's end.

On her radio show, Coach Sharp also complimented Stacey on what a good job she did for her ESPN debut.
