No surprise here, except that the score was closer than I expected.

77-56 is the final...tech only shot 45.6% from the charity stripe, but outrebounded A&M 52-28. Lots of mental errors tonight for the LRs. Grant played great defense on Williams...she held A&M's leading scorer to one basket in the first half.

Pierson: 25 pts, 11 rebs, 5 blks
Perkins: 20 pts, 7 rebs
Grant: 4 pts, 5 rebs, 6 asts
Davis: 6 pts, 5 rebs
Greenwalt: 7 pts, 4 rebs
Ritchie 4 pts, 5 asts

Ayers, Clark, Tennal, and Jackson all saw extended minutes also

Up next for Tech...Dionne Brown gets a reunion with her old teammates...however she's on the other end of the court this time

Tech played a good solid first half, but the free throw situation is worrisome as is their new found tendency (Pacific and TAMU) to get out to a 20 point lead and coast the rest of the game. I want to see them focus for 40 minutes.

Sloppy habits catch up with you when you least expect it.
