41-30 KSU at the half. Wecker has 2 fouls. K-State started out very strong but KU has worked its way back in somewhat.

Final 88-49 KSU. Kendra Wecker was 5-5 from 3-land and scored 18 points. Ohlde also scored 18. Attendance approx 5,300, many in purple.

I should add that everyone played with good minutes and everyone scored including a valuable three from Domenico. We need a little scoring from that young lady.

No match for KSU's three point shooting. Down only 11 at the half, we had a little momentum going into the second half and then pretty much got our butts kicked by KSU's hot shooting and our cold cold shooting. We tried to play their game by hoisting up 3's, but we don't have consistent outside shooter and our real game is inside. We didn't go to Ransburg and Kemp enough, but I was pleased to see they played well with Ohlde. Basically, KU couldn't match up to a team with, what, 4 players averaging 10-20 ppg. Still, it was a good learning experience and shows them where they need to be to compete in this league. Attendance was around 5000 or so. 4000 were KSU fans..but it was nice to see some KU fans as well. My friends and I got there early enough to get our regular seats but were surrounded by that god-awful purple. Still, gotta appreciate the support they get from their fans, they're a good team, that's for sure.
