I knew the girls would eventually have a let down, but did it have to happen against an 0-11 team? http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif

Connie said it best after the game. A poor defensive effort.

This is looking a lot like that loss to Wisconsin-Milwaukee in '97. That team recovered and ended up in the NCAA tournament.

Now we get to see an important examination. Will the Huskers fight back and play well against Oklahoma next week OR will we go into the tank.

Ladies, does your heart pump blood, or kool-aid?

I was banking on a couple of NU players on my Hoopla team since they were playing UT Pan Am at home. I never dreamed they would lose this one.

Yori should of slapped a full court press on them midway into the second half when the Huskers got down by 7. UTPA was averaging 26 turnovers a game, had the Huskers been able to rattle their guards this could very well been the Huskers 8th victory. Making free throws would of helped too!

As a long time Husker WBB fan it was bittersweet to see Coach Kate Galligan's team finally get off the snide. Too bad it had to be in the Devaney Center.

Hey Row 6..welcome to the cabaret! We hope you come back often. Us Husker folk need all the backup we can get!

Kate Galligan? Now that's a name that is a pleasure to see again. She's a coach now? Muy excellente!

Ahhhh. the days of the skinny-stocky backcourt of Kate and Lizzie B, and Tina McClain, and Roko Brown....and Pyra Aarden....and the days of Coach Angela ripping her blazer off and chucking it three rows up...lol!

Welcome Row6Seat10. I'm glad you found us. You should be able to find fast cars in Lincoln all right. Thats been a sprint car and modified midget haven for a long time. When my brother and I were a lot younger there were over 60 sprint cars based in the Lincoln area. Some of them like Jan Opperman, Joe Saldona & Lloyd Beckman, to name a few were legendary.

With Speedy Bill Smith & Speedway Motors as well as various engine builders etc. there ought to be a lot of fast street equipment also.
