Come on Sooners, listen to what Sherri has to say and then go do it with everything you have. Go Crimson beat the Cardinal!

Captain's Log. Stardate 0103.03
The Sherriprize is set out toward the Pac-10 Delta Quadrant for a dangerous mission. In response to a challenge, another meeting with a group becoming an intractable, and traditional adversary.
Good Luck Oklahoma! BEAT THE BORG!
Boomer Sooner!!!! Go OU!!!!
And especially for the sake of the players, but also for the sake of WCBB fans I hope NO ONE gets hurt in this game. OU does not deserve or need any more injuries, and of course Stanford does't either.
For us fans? Can you imagine the catterwaulling we will hear from Stanford fans if any player on their team even gets a scratch? We will no doubt be treated to a wail about esoteric things like get-well cards or maybe Valentines cards or the "look" that somebody gave or didn't give. Please let's have a clean game and GET OVER IT already!
I like Stanford and respect their program but I don't respect silly, can't let go of it, whining.
OK, OK, I'll shut up now. I know this post won't help. I just couldn't stop myself. I hope OU wins and King has a nice game.

I did read that Stephanie Simon's back, though not listed as a probable starter in the "official" release. Wonder if any of the girls got to go to the Rose Bowl? I didn't hear anything, but Simon is a huge football fan and I think she dates Nate Hybl......at least that's what a couple of folks have told me.
I would suspect they did not go to Pasadena and have been practicing here at home.
Saying my prayers for the young'un's now; sprinkling a little Sooner magic dust all around.

Gee, Jimi. We are sorry to inconvenience you with our feelings and support for Susan King. So, when is a good time for a fan to let go of the past? As a fan for another team, when do YOU think it's "appropriate" for another team to "get over" the painful fact that Susan lost 2 years of playing time and will never be the same type of player? What a month, a year, 2 weeks. You tell me.

My mom, sister, and friend of my mom's are still in California on a wonderful Holiday trip. They went to see the Rose Bowl game and are at Stanford for tonight's game. They saw and talked with Simon's parents at the Rose Bowl game. The team did not go to the Rose Bowl game.
Simon is cleared to play. Last I heard there is nothing wrong with the knee except a lot of swelling and a lot of pain. She can practice on it, but as far as being able to pound on that knee during a game - that's a different story. Thankfully though, doctors found nothing wrong with the knee like a torn ACL, etc.

I'm only going to say this once, Cardinal.
Good luck to your team, and may both of our teams play a clean and hard-fought game tonight. May the best team win.
