Just one thing, Erin Grant's classification is incorrect. She is listed as a SO. True she may play better than her classification but she is only a freshman http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif .

Thanks for bringing that up.
For the sake of the Hoopla! game that will start in the next couple of weeks, I need everyone to check the classificiation (freshman, sophomore, etc.) and position (G, F, P, etc.) of the players for the team you follow. Please let me know if there are any errors.
Also, let me know in your opinion, if the position is totally correct. For instance, a player may only be listed as a guard, when in reality they are really a guard/forward combo. That can be an important distinction for the Hoopla! game.
And one final thing if you are still with me. I need to know who plays the point guard position for each team. And, if they only play the point (do not play the 2 or anything else - so basically they play the point a majority of the time). For instance, for Oklahoma, Jackson and Luce play the point and they both only play the point. Jackson may have played the off-guard once, but only very rarely - so I'll consider her a point guard only.
Thanks for everyone's help!
For Iowa State Lindsey Wilson plays the point, but she also is sometimes playing at the two this season. Anne O'Neil normally plays at the two, but has also been putting in time at the point when Wilson is at the two, or is on the bench. Megan McCracken only plays the point. Erica Junod is capable of playing the point and has done so in the past, but not this season and probably will not do so.
Also, I think ISU's Tracy Paustian is more of a G/F than a pure guard.

Erin Grant plays point pretty much exclusively. Mik Tennal plays both point and the 2 guard for the Lady Raiders. Occasionally Jia Perkins plays point, but not often.

TEXAS
Before her illness, JAMIE CAREY started at point guard but sometimes moved to shooting guard when NINA NORMAN came in. Nina plays primarily point guard but occasionally plays shooting guard. TAMRA COBBINS, another freshman off the bench, plays almost exclusively point guard. I think it would be appropriate to include any one of these three players as point guards in a starting line up.
Thanks for all the work you put into this Commissioner.
As you know Kansas State is a bit short handed and tends to mix and match its line-ups this year even more than last. I think you have it basically right but; Kendra Wecker is playing at guard some of the time when Patterson goes BIG. In fact she has even played point but that is not typical. I do think she should have "G" added and be listed as G/F this year. Likewise Amy Dutmer also plays guard at times but less so and certainly NOT point. "F" for her is still ok but G/F is probably closer to the truth. Jessica Mcfarland does play power forward as much as she plays center. She was advertised to be a pure post when recruited but I think she needs to be listed as a F/P. Koehn, Domenico, Newsom & Mahoney all play both guard positions. Newsom is most always at point when she is in, otherwise they all play one, two or three. We have even seen Brie Madden at wing in two games and (Heaven help us) also at guard. Brie is a great young lady but you will not confuse her dribbling the ball up court with Nicole Ohlde. There is no telling what line-up you will see from K-State. All in all though if you add a "G" to Wecker's F and an "F" to Mcfarland's P you will be about as good as you can get.
Clear as mud, right.
Other Texas fans, feel free to agree or disagree with the following:
Stacy Stephens - should be listed as P rather than F/P. I can't think of a UT lineup in which Stacy is not at the Center position.
Heather Schreiber - should be listed as F rather than G/F. She's been playing at the 3 and 4 spots but never at 1 or 2.
