TCU held Texas Southern to an NCAA record low for points scored in their 76-16 rout over the Lady Tigers last night.
Texas Southern's previous low point total this year was in their 83-45 loss at Kansas on December 6th.
The previous NCAA record for scoring futility was held by Prairie View A&M with 19 points against Jackson State in 1983.
"This game shocks me a little bit because they played a good schedule," [TCU coach Jeff] Mittie said. "This was a case of us being very good at times and them just struggling."
