Uh, oh. Here is a quote from a Washington player. "Said Burt: "Andrea was just open in the middle all night long at the high post. It was amazing. She hit that turnaround jumper all night long. I'm just really surprised they didn't make the adjustment."" ISU was evidently focusing on stopping guard Loree Payne.

That may have been the case, but ISU held UW to 64 point and they were averaging over 91 points per game at home. The problems ISU is having right now is not defensively, but on offense. With all that being said ISU was in position to win this game up 1 and at the free throw line shooting two with under 30 seconds to go in the game. Two misses from the line, UW scores and ISU misses a wide open 15 footer at the buzzer and game to UW.

WOW! Since losing badly to Tech(25+ I think), the Huskies are on Fire. That score sure suprised me! The Cyclones will get back on track though.

Washington is a well coached team with good skills and smart players. They just fell victim to the onslaught of Perkins and Pierson. But they're going to do some damage in the Pac 10 and look for them to get an at large to the NCAA's.
I'm sure Wilson was disappointed...know she wanted to win in front of her home town.
I think the best thing that could happen to re-energize the ISU fan base, and make Lindsy Wilson feel better, is for the Cyclones to win their next two games. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
The team that's comming in on the 29th (Duke) can be beaten just like the last team that played Texas. Come on Coach Bill! Rally the troops! The whole country (and especially K-State fans) will love you for it.
GO Cyclones!!! Go Big XII.

The ISU team that lost to Washington is not the same team that went 0-3 against the in-state competition. ISU is starting to gel as a team and find its shot. Hopefully that trend continues against Duke. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif They'll have to get more than 6 assists, though.
