Nina Norman hit a three with one second left, too much celebrating by Texas bench leads to a technical, Lawson hits both, but it's not enough. Way to go Lady Longhorns!

I was there - the shot clock buzzed after the ball left Norman's hand but before the ball went through the bucket and the Texas bench thought it was the game clock that buzzed and they ran onto the court. However, there was actually one second left on the game clock - thus the tech. In the bench's defense, the camera man ran onto the court also, it was an honest mistake - which of course, could have cost us the game. Luckily it didn't

wow, way to go Texas. Incredible win for the team and the conference.
And I forgot about it and didn't watch it http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif Jeez, I guess it's the Xmas thing that's causing me to be so forgetful. I have yet to hear Coale's radio show and forgot her TV show this morning.
Surely it's not an "age thing" http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif
Sure would have been a great game to watch.

Super Job Longhorns! One of the most exciting games of the decade. It would have been devastating if that technical with 1 second left had cost the game! What a great win for the program and for the whole conference!
Now, if Baylor would just schedule a top 100 team, we would gain a little more respect.

I have to agree. One of the most exciting games I have seen Jody coach in many many years. Reminded me of the LaTech game we lost in triple overtime to get to the final 4 back in 1989-90 by 2 points. The attendance, fan support, noise and intensity was like the games of that era. Most important not only a win against Tennessee - but a great win for the Big 12, since so many others have our conference down this year.

Great win by Texas. Congrats. With two of their top players from the early season sitting out, Texas could have had lots of excuses. But those girls played like they were determined to win. And they did. Good boost for the B12.
Big time contributions from the young 'uns.

I'm too tired to say much but "hooray for my team". It was a great team effort. I listened to the interviews of both Conradt and Summitt. I thought both women were very dignified and gracious. Summitt gave a lot of credit to Texas for what the Longhorn players did right as well as talking about what things her team needs to improve. The crowd was announced at 9,000 something. I hope people had enough fun to come back for some conference games this winter. It is fun to be part of a loud, involved home crowd.

WOW!!!! I can't even talk I screamed so much. What an atmosphere. Nina Norman's dad told us before the game that she was going to have a great game and DID SHE EVER. We handled their pressure very well and the whole team stepped up. What a win without your two best perimeter players. Nina Norman is going to be a great player. Way to go Texas!!!!!
Well, I owe the team a Texas-sized apology for doubting it could be done. Truly a team effort all the way. What a special moment for Nina! She said in one of the earlier profiles on the UT website that she wanted to do whatever it takes to help the team. Well, last night, she did just that. Tai was huge as well, knocking down those mid-range jumpers and playing great 'D'. Stacy and Heather were Stacy and Heather. Great job of staying out of foul trouble and getting the Tennesse posts into foul difficulties. And I might add, a well-coached game, too. Great job!

Congratulations Texas, you have found a backcourt!!!!
Yesterday felt a lot like the 1980s. The Lady Vols and Longhorns dueling to the end. A well struck win for the lasses of Austin!!!!!!!

AWESOME game by the Horns! Particularly impressive with Carey and Sare out. There's nothing better than a Big 12 team beating a top SEC team.
