Please help an old guy remember:

How long has the Big XII been in existence? And who have been the conference winners? I can't find anything on the "official" site.

The first season of the Big 12 was the 1996-1997 season. The info you may be looking for might be in the Summer Prospectus release. Check out the complete release in the .pdf file (Adobe) I think there are some conference history and records toward the end of the file.
