Weber State played strong defense and gave K-State fits for the first 10 minutes. They led 10 to 11 with 10:02 left in the first half. From then on however, the Kansas version of purple clad Wildcats showed why they are ranked. They really steped up on defense and got the Ogden Utah based Weber State purple Wildcats completely out of sync. The score at the half was 32 to 12 K-State. Yes that's right. Weber State scored ONE point on a foul shot at about the five minute mark for the rest of the half. Kendra Wecker led K-St. in scoring with 18. Laurie Koehn had 13 & Nicole Ohlde 10. The bench got good minutes and played well for the most part. Freshman Jessica McFarland played only five minutes and did not score but everyone else did. The team only gave up 8 turnovers tonight.

Kendra Wecker was named to the all tourney team and Laurie Koehn was named MVP.

Attendance was 6,694.

Kansas State's next game is at Wisconsin Greenbay on December 12. They are playing good ball so it may be a tough game.
