After a rough first half, CU outscored Evansville 42-17 in the second half to advance to the championship game of the Oakland Tribune Classic in Berkeley, CA. CU plays the winner of Cal and Penn tomorrow.
CU was lead in scoring by Sabrina Scott with 18 points (and 10 rebounds). Tera Bjorklund chipped in with 14 points (all in the 2nd half) and a big 8 assists. Syreeta Stafford had her best game to date with 25 minutes, 9 points and 6 steals.
CU had 18 offensive rebounds, but shot only 40%, so this could have been much more of blow out than it was.
