Thanks Mark! Looks promising for the future. I am getting more and more depressed about our team right now so I need some good news. Tonights game was SO frustrating. Oh well, I'll feel better if we can beat the Red Menace on Saturday.

Go Buffs!

that is good news, now if a couple of post players develop, we might have a chance. I like the ideal of fressie, chucky and spears in the back court, I think we then have a shot a competing with the athleticism of some of these big 12 teams. i just hope next year is not as dismal as this year.

CU really shot itself in the collective foot too much last night. Too many silly mistakes and not their 'normal' one but two long scoring droughts really handed what was a very winnable games for the Buffs to TTU. The TTU defense seemed to really confuse the CU players.

Coach continues to talk about how important it is to have Kara Richards on the floor rather than on the bench with foul trouble. Last night was another example of how true that is. BUT it's high time that the coaches developed an offensive plan for the Buffs playing without Richards. She has had good nights where she played most of the game and contributed well and she has had bad nights where she spent more time out of the game than in. And looking ahead to next season, the Buffs frontcourt will be very in-experienced. So these coaches need to get going on developing a variation to the offense that doesn't require Kara on the floor. They will need it next season and sure could use it this season, even if only as a back-up plan because Kara suddenly learns how to totally stay out of foul trouble.

CU did make some really stupid mistakes but I give the TT defense most of credit for the Buffs loss. Bianca could not get any space to get off a 3 almost all game. TT covered the perimiter very well and with KARA on the bench much of the game CU couldn't do much on the offensive side.

And CU's D gave up way to many easy baskets. It seemed like whenever TT needed a basket, they would ust drive to the hoop and lay it in.

Good game plane for TT and no adjustments by CU. I give the Buffs this, they played with heart and despite their struggles still made it a game to the end.
