I wish I could correct the title.

Nicole Ohlde scored 28 and snared 15 rebounds. Kendra Wecker scored 16, Megan Mahoney 13 plus 11 rebounds.

Mahoney's jump shot with 3:29 left in the game gave Kansas State its first lead since early in the second half.

Temple was very scrappy and very physical. They played hard Dawn Staley basketball the whole way. Laurie Koehn only got open for one clear three which she drained. To hear the announcers tell it Ohlde got banged around pretty hard underneath especially in the second half. Kendra Wecker sat out quite a bit of the half with four fouls but Brie Madden came in and played well. Temple is very quick and they scared me a lot going into this game. They are the type of team that can give us fits and they did. Great game Temple.

Now I hope that we get Stanford in the final and I hope I don't regret getting what I wished for.

Go KSU!!!!!

Temple played Iowa State in Ames in the NCAA first round last season; they were VERY tough, fought tooth and nail down to the last second. Dawn Staley was extremely active on the sidelines. It was obvious that she had transmitted her personality to her team. They have picked up some good recruits, and I expect to see them contending nationally within a year or two.
