Well, what can you say? It's always hard to gauge anything from these types of games, but it was nice to see a lot of shots going in. Megan Mahoney is going to have a break out year. She has been stepping up big time lately, and has become every bit as much a threat as the other "Big Three." Attendance was pretty light tonight, and the crowd never was really into the game as K-State jumped to a 30-3 lead. On a side note, 115 is the most points scored ever by KSU. Anyway, great game! Go Cats!

Poor Pine Bluff! They'd have been better off playing Stanford!
Iowa State fans may be glad to know that they lost a spot in the Kansas State record book. UAPB's 37 points is a new record low by an opponent. The old one was 38 set by ISU some time back. The margin of victory of 78 was also a record.
Nicole Ohlde had 4 blocks and that gives her 102 which breaks the old career record of 100 set by Olga Firsova.
Every one had at least 5 points and only one player did not have an assist. It was one of those kind of nights. It was nice to Laurie Koehn go 6-9 from threeville. Everyone played at least 17 minutes and the most was 27 min.
Attendance was 6,384 spread out around the building.
Hopefully Friday will be a better game.
