Kansas off to impressive start

Kansas already has 60% of last year's win total and are now 3-0 after beating San Diego at San Diego, 59-56. Get used to hearing this name, Tamara Ransburg. She's a 6'4" freshman out of Kansas City and had 6 blocks in last night's game to go with her 15 rebounds. The Jayhawks had 13 total blocks in last night's game.

The number of quality big players seems to be exploding. I have to keep reminding myself that Connecticut won the national championship just last year starting no one over 6'2" and with just one taller player off the bench, 6'3" Jessica Moore, who wasn't much of a factor.

Also get used to the name Aquanita Burras. Soph guard transfer, sweet shot and fast! One of my new favorite players. Crystal Kemp also kicking butt along with Ransburg. Both big tall girls inside, rebounding and hustling down the court.

This weekend is the KU Classic.
