I agree, schooner.........I would much rather see OU/Tulsa play, though I think Friday nite's on Cox Channel 3 is reserved for High School Football playoffs http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif

ORU beat OsU by 20 last night so the OU/ORU game might be a good game! Its on Cox Ch. 3 in OKC, same time as the OU football game on TBS. There is going to be alot of flipping the channels tonight.

I dragged my second TV into the other room and was watching both,
then I had to go find a radio because I couldn't stand the "homer" announcers on the Women's Basketball Game......
Turned out ok, except I kept using the wrong mute button for the wrong TV...... http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

OU won handily, everyone got to play, Villarroel is starting to look like the player we've heard about. Welch....I just like Welchs' on-court attitude; she is starting to do some things I saw when she played in WBCA HS game. Caton notched a double-double; Schuknecht had a hard time of it in this tourney. Sherri was substituting liberally and the positive of that is that nothing seemed to be taken away from the first 5....ok, you can tell a difference when Caton Hill is not on the court. I think Beky Preston is going to be a really good post player, she's working well around the basket. OU played really good defense, not letting ORU get very many 3 pointers off, much less made.....Action D'Jackson...ORU get leaving her wide open beyond the arc, and she nailed 3 of 4, I think.

Everytime I see this ORU team play, the less I like them......
though they don't rival the dirty play of the entire Wichita State line-up, there are 2 players on ORU's team that needs some sportsmanship classes and reminded they are playing on the basketball team, not the wrestling team. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif One of those players bear-hugged/mugged Villarroel breaking for the basket, got called for the foul....turned around on the very next play and whapped her with her elbow in Maria's ribs....and it was real obvious that she fully intended to pay Maria back for something.......Caton Hill got tangled up with dirty player #2 and the girl grabbed her leg and Hill couldn't get up.....next play, they were both going for the rebound and Caton fell, DP #2 fell and banged her head......thought there was going to be a fight, DP #2 came up with her fist. Coale pulled Caton out of the game, it was in the last 5/6 minutes.

The Tulsa/OSU game also showed some temper/flair....Tulsa won..
and who measured Skibbee for her uniform? they need to go back to measuring school.....I really don't like OSU's uniform's, they are going to spend the whole season trying to keep their arm's pushed back.....their uniforms are too big.....
