Well, OSU is trailing Oral Roberts 33-15 at the half. THis really surprises me...both teams have many new faces this year.

Longhorns off to an embarassing start - less than 50% on free throws?

What little I've listened to--it sounds ugly!

Sounds like Alison Curtain is the real deal.
Tulsa 30 OU 24 at the half.
Tulsa has had 3 players score-Curtain w/ 16, Shriver w/ 8, and a sub w/ 6. Curtain and Shriver also have 11 of Tulsa's 20 rebounds.
OU has 14 rebounds. Maria is leading the way for OU w/ 8 pts.

Other scores:
Colorado 85 Rice 66

Stacy picks up 4rth foul. Longhorns have a lot of work cut out for them.

OU seems to have regrouped, leading by 7 w/ 7 minutes to go.

Right now on the floor for OU is 3 frosh-Welch, ANdrews, Higgins, Schuknecht, and D Jackson.

Now Schuknecht and Hill both have 4 fouls; Hill in for Andrews.

what a bunch of homers up there in Tulsa......the ref mistakenly called Hill for her 5th foul and she was no where near the play, it was Welch...Schuknecht just fouled out.....right under 3 minutes and the score 52-51 OU. Urgh, I forgot how nerve-racking OU games can be after the last two years http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

whew........OU wins 65-61. Thought it was a very, very wise coaching decision to have Chelsi foul with 5 seconds left and Tulsa down by 3.....don't even give them the chance for a three..

I have a feeling tomorrow nite's game for OU will be a whole lot different than tonite's game.....don't know if I can do this close game while rooting for the football team to win at the same time http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

Actually, that was Baylor leading at the half 35-27. Alot of first game jitters to start out with, but they got it together in the second and won 86-47. Good team effort - five players in double figures.

Whew, that's good. I guess Yahoo had their score backwards (or I read it backwards) and I never saw an update.

I have yahoo send me B12 WBB scores (as well as Iowa, UNI, and Drake) on my pager, and it said Baylor was losing as well. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif I was wondering how they went from being down at the half to winnning by so much.
