The season is about to start, and one problem that I am always encountering when traveling to follow my Cyclones, is when I get to my destination city,....HOW DO I GET TO THE GYM !!! I've talked about this problem with some others and we thought maybe somebody from each school could give directions, so when we get into town we don't waste time driving around, but have some idea where to go (You would be surprised how many gas stations attendants have no clue there is even a college in town........I'll start, with the PRIDE of the MIDWEST, -IOWA STATE- in Ames, Iowa. Most will be coming in from the south, up Interstate 35,
take exit -Hwy 30 west into Ames.
Go approx. 3 miles on Hwy 30 until you get to Elwood Drive
turn right on Elwood (heading North) approx. 3/4 mile
along Elwood you'll first see the football field, the large parking lot, and then HILTON Collisium.
General admission tickets are purchased on the south side, ground level,(then you need to go up the outside steps for admission) Player-pass gate is on the east side, up a cement walk ramp (so this could also be used for handicap access)
Hopefully this will help, because I'm usually running late, but do like to watch warm-up too ??Any corrections???

Directions to Coors Events Conference Center:

Since everyone is coming either west or north to Boulder, here are the basic directions from I-25 which is the main north-south highway in Colorado....

Take I-25 to the Boulder exit (Hwy 36)
Take Hwy 36 west to Boulder. (Hwy 36 becomes 28th street in Boulder.)
Go Left at the first stoplight (Colorado Ave.)
Go Left at the first stoplight (Regent Drive)
Once you turn on to Regent Drive, you will see a large parking lot and a large parking garage on your left. These are the best places to park without being hassled. (Parking is free).
The Coors Events Center is located about a block or so south of the parking garage.
The Events Center Ticket office is at the top of the stairs.

I believe the official handicap entrance is the lower level on the west side. There is a ramp up to the door and there is an elevator right there. The upper west side is a great door to enter if you have Gen Adm tickets and you get there before the doors open, because there is usually a big line at the south door.
