Mred, 3pointland....wondering about your thoughts after two exhibitions. I have been pleasantly surprised by Kriener and Wilkins! I think between the two of them they can replace a lot of Welle's production. They seem to be almost interchangeable....Kriener may be a step quicker. I am hoping to see them in the game together at some point.
Cofield seems to have improved a lot. She seems to be looking for her shot on offense and is really playing sharp defense. She looks much more athletic this year.
Junod has been steady as ever, and Anne O'Neil looks like she could add a lot once she is 100%.
What are your thoughts on Lindsey Wilson? She needs to start playing a little more within herself. She almost seems to be trying to carry too much of the load, when there are certainly other girls on that team that can score.
Overall, I look for a good season out of this team. 24 turnovers agains a direction Missouri school is not a good omen!
