Nebraska has officially received a letter of intent from Canadian star Chelsea Aubry. Aubry is a 6'2" power forward from Ontario. She is currently a starring member of the under-20 Canadian national team, and she hopes to someday play for Team Canada in the olympics. A post player with the strength to play inside and the speed to play on the perimeter, Aubry should help the Huskers immensely.

Connie Yori is slowly but surely building a very good recruiting class for NU. Aubry will help solve a lot of Nebraska's issues in the lane. We all saw what happened the last time a versatile 6 footer from up north signed with a struggling Big 12 program...They ended up in the National Championship game.

In other news, NU recruit Andrea Lightfoot recently led her Omaha Marian volleyball team to the Class A state finals. Throughtout the whole tournament, she showcased her unbelievable athleticism and gamesmanship. She is just a natural born winner. Rarely do you see a girl who can successfully play middle blocker at only 5'9", especially in Nebraska's largest class. I can't wait until Andrea and company are in Husker uniforms.

ISU was pushing for her pretty hard. I don't know if ISU pulled back after the commitment from Megan Ebel. ISU still has three scholarships to give, but with only one senior in 03-04 Fennelly may wish to bank the rest.

Connie's taking a page from the John Walker playbook. If Aubrey follows the form of some of those soccer players UNL got from north of the border, LOOK OUT BIG 12!

As for Andrea Lightfoot, Papio blew them out of the water yesterday.
