TX vs. Wayland Baptist

This is more fun than most exhibition match-ups. We play a team that is a big part of wbb tradition. Plus the school is coached by former Longhorn, Johnna Pointer. I was reminded in the Texas preview that West Texan Stephanie Shaw transferred to Wayland Baptist from New Mexico.

Good News - Alisha Sare has been cleared to play.

Bad News - Kala Bowers is out with a respiratory illness. Get Well, Kala!

Thanks carolann for the update. Will not able to make the drive from Dallas today. You know, it is something called WORK!! Transfer Alison Cudnoski former Texas Tech center plays for WBU now (at least I think she should be a senior). Her PT was limited when she finally became healthy but she had two ACL injuries that sidelined her. She had been pretty productive if I can remember well for WBU.

I only saw the 2nd half last night. I had to drive back from an afternoon appointment in San Antonio.

Kala didn't start but she did play 12 minutes. She came bounding out onto the court when I saw her in the 2nd half.

Kayla played some in the first half too. She may have been the first off the bench (but can't remember for sure).
