Oklahoma downed an obviously tired (5th night in a row) Solna Vikings 99-49. For the record, the bottom 5 came in with 10 minutes left and the score 74-34. OU article (http://soonersports.ocsn.com/sports/w-baskbl/spec-rel/111402aaa.html)

So good to see Dionnah get on track a little and she really did,
as did Wadsworth and Laura Andrews. Wadsworth seems to be trusting her knee more than I saw her the last time out, grabbed some awesome rebounds. Caton shot a lot better than we saw at Tennessee. Chelsi took awhile to get her points, Higgins was knocking 'em down from downtown.....as was Luce running the backup PG. I read/heard that they need to get Luce more court time, especially when we saw what happened in Tennessee with Jackson in foul trouble. Beky Preston didn't play as strong as she did in the first exhibition, but she's got a lot of time to learn. Speedy V Maria looked a lot better on the court; I heard Ross comment today that she didn't know about the hand-checking and needed to make a fist and use her forearm......aren't the rules the same in JUCO ball for handchecking fouls? Andrews was knocking 'em down from beyond the arc. I think everyone scored except for Shoush.....that child sure is skinny, think she takes the cake over Stacey Dales. I heard they tried to put weight on her, but it ain't happening http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif They weren't working as much through the post to Schuknecht, though Hill was doing some post work.
Sure wanted point 100. Everyone got to play quite a bit, and did a really good job.
Soonerman....why did Solna stay on the court stretching after the game....do they go directly to the bus?

swok--that's the first mention I've seen of Shoush this year. Is she figuring to get any serious PT, or will she be a role player?

I don't know if she will or not....I heard last year that she wasn't adapted to the physicalness of DI. I'm not sure I see a lot of difference in her play this year...I think she will be a role player, and with Welch, Higgins, Andrews, Villarroel, just don't know.
Kendra Moore was in-house watching the game. I heard she has had 3 surgeries on her torn ACL knee, but I think they are related to a staph infection that developed. She certainly has a heady attitude, choosing to wait and rehab and not try and make it back for the tail end of her senior season.
