I'm excited. The players that graduated last year were such a huge part of A&M's WBB rising. A&M will now feature several young players.
Unbelievably (showing that every ACL injury is not the same and neither is the recovery time), Sydney Colson played 8 minutes in the A&M opener and had 4 assists with 0 turnovers and 1 steal. She also lifted the spirits of Aggie teammates and fans. This could be huge for A&M. I was very surpised when I read that Starks might be playing pg to start the year. I can't see Starks playing pg for the Aggies as a good thing.
Elonu, JC transfer Tanisha Smith, Assarian and Tyra White all look ready to contribute. I won't be surprised if we see a lot of Elonu and Assarian as the two front court players for A&M this season.
