I can't give it away until tommorrow's press conference, but she made her decsion tonight. It's on our GregSwaim.com recruiting page and it is a surprise to ma anyway.

Remember that on the show Sunday night we'll have on several top coaches to talk about the players they signed this week.

Duke! Ugh! Duke is just loaded and I really believe Notre Dame wanted Bales more. I know the fans did. Duke is recruiting as well or better than UConn. UConn got the big class coming in this year but Duke is getting who they want.

I think Duke's got to have the best recruiting class. I heard that Duke really, really wanted Tiffany Jackson, more than Bales.

So, I'm glad for Texas that Duke didn't get a Texan.

OU really needed a post player to complete their recruiting; by the same token.....I was impressed with what I saw in Beky Preston in the few minutes she played in the first exhibition...
and she's learning the ropes behind Schuknecht....

That's right, Duke didn't get Tiffany Jackson. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/biggrin.gif I am so happy about that. I heard from several sources that Duke really put the press on Tiffany Jackson after Monique Currie was hurt. It is just so important to Texas to have gotten the most highly recruited in-state player. Rush to OU is a loss for the state. I have a bad for us, good for you, feeling about that one.

OU has a good class for next year. So do several other Big 12 schools, including Texas Tech. Texas needs to keep pace!

We'll all be keeping an eye on Schuknecht in the next month and a half to see just what we'll be contending with when conference starts. As you say, playing behind Schuknecht for a year won't hurt Becky Preston at all.

Am a little surprised that Bales chose Duke. I had her pegged for Notre Dame.
