I really thought the B-12 would play better. All the hype that TX Tch rcvd and to then lose to a much lower ranked, much younger LA Tech Team. I did not expect OKL to do much against TENN, but I did not think they would lose by 26 on National TV. Is Tenn that good, or is OKL just that bad.

I agree that La Tech is somewhat younger in terms of bringing in new players, but they also returned four starters. This La Tech team is way underrated. I don't know if Tennessee will have an answer for Frierson and Ford when they meet in Ruston next month.

starting lineups
TT had 1 sr, 2 jrs, 1 soph and 1 freshman
LT had 1 sr, 2 jrs, 1 soph and 1 freshman

looks equal to me...TT has 5 new players, so I'd say they're still pretty young themselves

OU and TTU will get their teams on track...and La Tech and Tennessee will also have great seasons...no doubt

I dont think La Tech is underrated, however, TTech may very well be overrated.

you can correct the polls by dropping Tx Tech in the polls. They are maybe 21 or 20, maybe.

Two things...

1. No one ever won a National Championship before Thanksgiving.

2. Don't playa hate...Until March.

I'll leave at that. Four solid basketball team met on Sunday. Two won, two lost.

Chipper, someone needs to tell Marsha Sharp she has a mediocre team so she won't get her hopes up! After all, why expend all that energy working toward lofty goals...

Methinks some people don't understand the competitiveness of Big 12 coaches and players.
