Well, crap. I really expected Whitney to be a leader this year. Brittney Blythe and Alyssa Fressle will really need to step it up at the PG position.
2 steps forward 3 steps back. CU has had several acl tears this year amoung all of its atheletes so far. Hope blythe and fressie are ready, could the girl from csu play some point

I hate to hear that. Those things seem to run in cycles.

If you read the entire article, it also says:
Additionally, McConnell-Miller announced that sophomore guard Chelsea Dale underwent successful surgery to stabilize ligaments in her right ankle earlier this month. Dale, who saw action in 12 games as a true freshman in 2007-08, has started rehabilitation and is expected to return in December.
I love watching Whitney play. We're going to really miss her. She had improved so much since her freshmen season.

I am not sure that Kelly Jo Mullany is a point type. I think she is really more of a shooting guard. It really seems that the point have to be either Blythe or Fressle. I am not sure who #3 will be.

Fressle is going to have some big time responsibilities as a freshmen. She's going to see a lot of playing time.
