OSU won their exhibition game last night; Skibbe finished with 21 points and 10 rebounds.

"It's going to take a while for the fans to recognize us, and this year, we don't have our name on our jerseys, so you've got to have a program to see who's who."

That's one of many changes that new coach Julie Goodenough has already brought to the team.

"I think the most important name is the Cowgirls," Goodenough said. "They have Cowgirls on their jersey, and that's what we are when we are out on the court.

ok, I understand the thought process behind this, but I've never liked it when teams don't put the players name on the jersey.

Or a Geno Auriemma Coaching conference, I like the way no-name jerseys place an emphasis on the team and not individuals. On the other hand, checking the program every five seconds can get a little old.

Did any of you go to the game? I went up there, and I had a great time. The Cowgirls look pretty good. The new coach is very energetic, and the players seem to really like her. I think they're going to have a good season. Anyhow, it was fun to go up to Stillwater and yell for them. Think I'll try to find a high school game to crash tomorrow night.
