Looks like the Hawaii tournament will only have 6 teams involved which really caused havoc in the scheduling. The games will be a modified round robin.

ISU will play Prairie View, Stanford and San Diego State. Each game will be at 11am. Stanford will have to face both Purdue and Iowa State.

At least we can get breakfast, go enjoy the game and then have the rest of the day for sightseeing.

Those games sure are going to seem like they are later. 11 am in Hawaii is 3 pm in Ames. :)

Finally the schedule has been announced. I like the round robin format. Going to be cool to see ISU play stanford in person. I would have liked to see us also play the host Hawaii or Purdue in one of the other games.

Adjusting to the time change won't be a problem on the way out. It'll be recovering from it when we get back that's going to be suck-tastic. Either way, it's going to be a great trip and we're going to see some good games (and 3 ISU wins!). :D

I say so... losing 4 hours is quite something. (Then again, it seems that I remain on Central time when arriving to the West, but revert to Central time as soon as I return.) My internal clock is weird, but oh well!

Did two of the teams back out, or is it more like the Oahu Classic from last year?

The tournament was originally supposed to include Mississippi and Bradley. For some reason those teams aren't going to be there. I'm guessing that travel costs played a factor. I can't imagine that it's going to be cheap to take the programs out to Hawaii.
