Anyone going to Knoxville next week?

Not me, I won't even be where I can watch the game (though I'm taping it).

I have friends in TN (huge OU fans) who managed to get tickets through a friend of theirs who knows one of the OU assistants. They said OU was only allotted 150 tickets for the game. That seems very stingy, considering how many their arena seats (25,000?). But, I also heard that only about 50 of them were taken so far. Not sure how true that is.

Any OU fans on here going? What about Tech fans?
I know the OU/TN game is at 2. Is the other game before/after it?

Texas Tech and LA Tech play first.

I'm not going, though I've run into folks who are. They told me that OU's allotment is up in the rafters and they bought their tickets through Tennessee and got better seats.

I think they cordone off the arena to about 17-18,000 seats, that's what I heard anyway. I agree, though 120 (what I heard) is not many at all, though I would suspect that if you wanted to go, you could probably get a ticket.

My brother lives in North Carolina. He called the Tech Ticket office and told him they sold out. Told him that Tech didnt get very many tickets. They gave him the number for Tennessee ticket office and got two tickets next to the Tech section

Oh, don't I wish!!! But I decided to save my money and go to the Big XII Tournament in Dallas.

Are both games going to be televised? (I have to yell for Texas Tech, too, even though I'm an old Sooner fan.)
